Great DIY Gift Ideas for Mother's Day!

Mother's Day is coming up this weekend (May 13th)! I have three children ages 12, 10 and 8 and my favorite part of Mother's Day is seeing the adorable DIY gifts they bring home from school and sunday school each year. They make great keepsakes because they have a personal touch to them.

Apparently, the thrill of a hand made gift does not wear off. My mom still prefers a thoughtful hand made treasure to a store bought gift. Of course, the quality of the DIY projects I can complete has improved somewhat since I was a child and now I can give her a handmade, DIY gift that is both memorable AND beautiful.

Here are a few of my favorite ideas for Mother's Day DIY - do you have any DIY projects you're undertaking for Mother's Day?

I love these ideas!  Really cool. For mother's day, we usually do something fun like go for a family bike ride, have a picnic, go swimming, or something that's fun for the family.   Sometimes we will all get pedicures.

Wow these are great ideas. My mother isn't crafty at all, but I beg to differ with all the stuff she buys and stores in her home. Can we say Pack rat?..LOL! She loves perfumes, and other fancy stuff so she tends to be picky but Jewelry always is up her alley.  This year I am gonna send her some flowers, take her out to eat and buy her a nice necklace.
