I have to admit, I'm on the fence.  I have walked past the kindle and admired it thinking of how much more space I'd have on shelves and flat surfaces in my house if I would convert.  But there's…Continue

I do the same thing, but I don't care!  I guess I feel that there's a season for everything, even when you choose to read a book.  I have Sarah's Key on my shelf...I keep being told it's a great book, but I'm avoiding reading it.  I read through the first two chapters and thought I was going to puke because I was so upset by the story at that point.  I know it's not true, but then again, you know people were going through that and doing stuff like that to protect their family from the Nazi's...Instead I read The Art of racing in the rain, all the vampire diaries, and the Forgotten Garden...so I'm just avoiding a book...&;)  But I'll get to it when I'm ready to handle it!

Since the Eve Duncan trio are out/coming out, I decided to re-read the Iris Johansen series.  I don't know why I'm doing this

.....I've got a back porch full of books WAITING to be read......

A girl I went to cosmetology school with gave this book to me and said it would change my life. She gave it to me when I was going through a rough time. I never read it (due to her constant nagging and pushing... it just put me off). I picked it up a couple of days ago and read a few chapters. I feel like this is going to be a good read. I am sure many of you are way ahead of me on this read, but if not... give it a whirl :)
