I don't know if any of y'all get PMS realllly bad, but I do and I hate it. I'm bloated, I hurt, I get cranky, short and SO emotional. Aside from Midol, does anyone know how to lessen PMS? I take baths, I drink wine, I stay away from people and I try to remember before I lash out at people that I'm not in a good place!!! Suggestions?
happy smells, I try to find scents that make me feel at ease, like for me I love the smell of soccer fields with fresh cut grass so if I am down I try to outside to a wooded/plains area to smell the area
I know this will probably make me unpopular, but I seldom suffer from PMT (PMS as it's called here in the US...old language habits die hard). When I do, I usually use a little chaste tree berry and try to up my calcium and magnesium intake.
One item that was brought to my attention a short time ago was the concept of Estrogen Dominance and PMS. I think it is more common in women over 40, but there is some evidence that if treated with Progesterone Cream, it lessons the symptoms of PMS. Worth looking into...? I am in no way an MD <nor> did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night but just sharing something that could be valuable. I am getting tested on Tuesday as I am like you Jenna, horrible PMS and getting worse as I age !!!
